About Professional Athletes Against Childhood Obesity:
PA2CO, as the organization is often called, is proud to present the 5K For A Healthy Life. PA2CO itself is a non-profit group founded by retired NFL player David Mims and is committed to eliminating obesity among America’s youth. The organization’s many initiatives emphasize the importance of proper nutrition, physical fitness and additional factors that contribute to a healthy body weight. Learn more. Awards:
Chronotrack disposable timing tags will be used for this event. You must properly wear your tag on your shoe to be eligible for awards.
Awards will be awarded to the top male/female in the following brackets: Overall, Overall Masters (40+). Top 3 awards will be given to the following age groups: 14 and under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-24, etc to 70+

PA2CO will be hosting a number of FREE Fun Runs leading up to the race, many at schools around East Texas, all in the spirit of staying healthy, fit and active.

Donations are encouraged. A portion of the proceeds will go to after school programs at each run’s host school district. Come show your support and enjoy an active morning!
